Tips for Your Visit
Best Time to Visit:
Eureka Springs is beautiful year-round, and really has so much to offer in all seasons! Fall brings vibrant color to the Ozarks and cooler temps, plus spooky season is a great time to take a ghost tour at the Crescent Hotel. The town comes alive with holiday spirit during December, and has tons of shopping, festive dining, and a holiday parade. Spring is lush and full of blooms, and summer is perfect for outdoor adventures. You can’t go wrong with a visit anytime of the year!
Getting There:
Eureka Springs is located in northwest Arkansas, about 2.5 hours from Tulsa, 3.5 hours from Kansas City, and 4.5 hours from Wichita. If you get easily motion sick, I highly recommend taking something beforehand, as the last hour of the drive is pretty hilly!
Getting Around:
Parking downtown can be tight, so wear comfortable shoes and take the local trolley when you can. It’s cheap, convenient, and adds to the fun, small-town vibe. There are stops all around town, and you can purchase tickets online or in person (exact cash if paying on the trolley). An all day pass is $6.
Don’t Miss:
So many unique spots here, but I definitely recommend a stop to see the Working Bunnies, explore the Crescent Hotel, and take a zipline tour through the gorgeous Ozark Mountains!
